I am very curious to find out how many of the Umpire Calls went in favor of India vs Aus in the whole series

At least in Brisbane highlights show at least 70% went in favor of Aus.

This leads to the obvious question - did the home umpires have anything to do with it ?

They did cheat no doubt.

Drs seemed a bit rigged.

Australia shouldn't have even won the first match. India thoroughly dominated  them apart from one session.

Run-outs not called in India's  favour.

Lbw decisions against Aussies not given.

Biggest scummy cheating mongers these Aussies sure are.

I remember on last day at Gabba, pujara was struck on pads very early by Lyon but umpcalled in our favour. After 60 overs, he got stuck on pads again by Cummins and was out by umpcall. Overall, it favoured both the sides equally from what I remember

There wasn't a single umpires call in that 36/9 session. They bundled us for our lowest score ever, fair and square and deserves to win that match

In the first test I remember the one of burns went in our favour.  Warne was furious with Umpire lol..  The Pujara one too in 4th test & then he got out at the right time as well.  So overall it was even Stevens.  Compared to what home umpires did to WI & Pak in NZ & Eng we didn't had too many harsh calls.

There were some several incorrect decisions that went against India in the second and third.

First was fair yes. We just don't pick the right players and dropped heaps of easy catches.

Probably when Aus was batting, doesn't matter now as that loss makes this literally a fairy tale win!

So I am scrolling down the cricinfo commentary and listing each and every Umpires call in the series..

All umpcalls in favor of india are highlighted in Blue. The ones in favor of Aus are highlighted in Red. Lets see who got the most in their way

First test:

    First innings:

           82.2 Umpire's call in Vihari's favor

    Second innings

           14.1 Umpire's call to get Wade's wicket

16.6 Umpire's call to get Burns' wicket

           30.2 Umpire's call in Head's favor

    Third innings - none

    Fourth innings - none

Second test:

     First innings:

           71.5 Umpire's call to get Lyon's wicket

           49.6 Umpire's call in Paine's favor

     Second innings:

          0.6 Umpire's call to get Mayank's wicket

     Third innings:

          101.6 Umpire's call in Starc's favor

            14.3 Umpire's call in Labuschane's favor

2.1 Umpire's call in Burns' favor

      Fourth innings - none

Third test:

     First innings:

          34.2 Umpire's call to get Pucovski's wicket

     Second innings:

          39.4 Umpire's call in Rahane's favor

    Third innings:

         8.2 Umpire's call to get Warner's wicket

        11.1 Umpire's call in Smith's favor

    Fourth innings- none

Fourth test:

     First innings- none

     Second innings- none

Third innings; - none (there is one umpcall for impact but the ball is missing wickets, so would have been notout anyway)

     Fourth innings:

         17.6 Umpire's call in Pujara's favor

         80.2 Umpire's call to get Pujara's wicket

So overall umpcalls in the series are 16.

Of them, 8 went in favor of Aus and 8 went in favor of India

Quite incredible that second test win considering all the calls that went against us. For me that MCG win also ranks higher than the Gabba.

Fabulous work .. also remember the Paine caught behind decision worked in our favour in MCG ( he moved his shoes at the same time as ball passed) but his run out decision was in their favour though it didnt hurt much. Overall honestly the first time I can say Umpiring was pretty good in Australia. Oxenford Reiffel were both good. The only complaint I have is the baloney in the t20 series when I think Wade was plumb and the replay was shown in big screen 1 second early and India reviewed but was denied. Wade thrashed us after that but we won the match..
