Was looking at Class of 2016 for India ( u19 wc). I mean it was the best ever assembled squad. How did we even end up as runners up. Anyways this is the squad

Who do you think from above can go on and break into the squad? Honestly the 2018 squad had  good names as well which are worth mentioning Gill Mavi Shaw Nagarkotti Abhishek Sharma Riyan Parag Ishan Porel Anukul Roy Arshdeep Singh but I am disappointed with the 2020 squad where we have only 2 worth mentioning: Tyagi and Jaiswal.. Priyam Garg has flattered to deceive.. has got many chances by now.. are we regressing??

 

 

 

On a side note : We lost to Windies in finals and they had these Names who have intl caps..not earth shattering

We had a bad day against WI in finals otherwise that was a good team, 2018 was something else, Nobody even gave a fight to Indian U-19 squad. Where is Sarfaraz Khan?

Kishan had a horrible tournament. Hardly scored any runs. Even Pant bashed only the minnows.  Sarfaraz was our most impressive batsman. Avesh was in top form but did not get the right support from spinners.

I am hoping Arshdeep Singh becomes a backup for Bhuvi. Was impressive in ipl

Tournament success does not really matter in the overall picture. More important is that they produce a player or two that has the potential to make it at senior level.
