express bowling Posted March 24 Author Posted March 24 In the practice matches, Mayank seems to be getting a tad less bounce off good length than he did in 2024. Earlier he used to hit the splice of the bat and was miserly ... but nowadays he is hitting the sweet spot of the bat and is going for runs. Hope the bowling coach works on this. tapandrun and Mosher 2

I didnt think he bent his back enough..few times he did and did get response from pitch.. I hope he will put more effort in real matches.. Else with this approach..he will lose competitive edge tapandrun 1

He isn't the same bowler he was in 2024 IPL after modification in action.

Better comparison can be done in game situations and more cameras. From the practice game looks like he is also running bit slow in run-up , release point changes when not bowling full tilt and may be there is some changes to his action too. express bowling, Mosher and Need4Speed 3

Yes that is true, that is subjective for bowlers most of them opt out of going allout express bowling 1

One can unserstand a lot of mny is behind players like dhoni, kolhi, rohit but not investing in future ..

tapandrun Posted March 26 Posted March 26 (edited) From the practice game looks like Tyagi has sorted his action alot, front arm is not going too high, no weird up-wards jump. He was able to bowl at a good line and length too. Think he has further refine the front arm but a person with more technical know how can tell if that is ok or there can be some more refinement to bring more frontward momentum Edited March 26 by tapandrun express bowling 1

His older action when he used to bowl at extreme high pace of 145-152 was better. His jump was high but with that kinda of pace and his natural outswing, he had a very soild foundation to build up with. Probably his body couldnt take the load. Dont think with this new action will be able to hit 150s with ease. Probably will become another 135-145kph bowler. Decent but not something which will make him stand apart. Plus dont think he bowls that "heavy ball" anymore which likes of Ashok or Mayank bowls. Edited March 26 by singhvivek141 express bowling and tapandrun 2

This was the season and the action he was touching 150 kmph, he is bowling with similar action this season, may be some diff in front arm. The jumo he copied from mark wood does not work and makes for bad and hard landing and specially if the action is not your default action, bowler does not have enough muscles memory to repeat the timing of jump , landing and release . Saini is a sad case, looked so exciting when he was coming through, just couldn't get to that level, flattered to deceive, Khejroliya wasn't even that express bowling and tapandrun 2
