Bumrah should not play this IPL

Strange suggestion. Why would he even think of skipping the tournament which made him the star he is today.

 

Also, as it's cash machine, IPL is the lifeline of Indian cricket and the BCCI and our players rightfully give it the highest priority. Every single thing which has positively influenced our cricket flows from there - great grassroots infra, player welfare, young talents coming through the ranks, well organised domestic setup or regular India A tours.

 

BCCI and the franchises have been coordinating well on workload management. Better to trust them than to ask for skipping the entire tournament, where Bumrah will bowl at max 36 overs over a 4 week period!
