Without Kohli's support, Shastri has no role to play. He just served as a Yes Man for Kohli validating everything Kohli wanted to do. So, I would not give Shastri any credit for that win because his main proponent wasn't part of the team then.

he has changed goal posts often enough in his tenure, right since 2015. at that time he made it look like we are on the verge of complete dominance which flies in the face of now saying we overachieved.

FFS Sridhar and Rathour draw 3.5 cr per annum (half a million USD)! Most International coaches do not earn that much. Even our physio makes 1.2 cr (as per 2017 data).
