ICC it seems tried this in Mohali long back, why din’t they use this in Dubai ?!

Again, possible issues with the condition of ball being altered more & how effective is it? I know it didn't wok that well in India, but I don't remember how frequently it was used.

What I think Indian fans have to do and is acknowledge that Pakistan and England were pretty good over. Our boys are the current ODI champs and are a formidable batting unit. Pakistan have their 2nd home in UAE and are pretty darn good there. So no luck involved in them going the deep end, even without tosses they would probably have gone to the SFs or further anyway.

 

India were unlucky to lose 2 crucial tosses, no way to skirt around that it's bad luck. But batting first India were awful in both big games. England and Pakistan never batted as poorly first even against better attacks. What is India's excuse for not making it competitive at the very least? That's why you need to show respect for all the other teams, it's sport and it'll be better for your health to acknowledge that sometimes the opposition are better.

Yea gotta say I am not.going to remember this tournament fondly at all much like the 2007 wc which also stunk and not just coz of the way we bombed out. Quality of cricket overall bjust wasn't that good and the importance of toss made it worse.

Only eng... pak were lucky side. Otherewise with 2 pedestrian what you had and with the detah bowling whom even Scotland,Namibian and Afgani batsmen thrashed you would have gone out in first 2 matches had you lost the toss.

yes. Pak was impressive bowled fast when buying kumar trundled had luck of toss but won impressively but that’s that , it’s t20 format.
