You are quoting some ignorant posts (some of these guys have zero idea about sports and its analysis/synthesis). Those teams batted 2nd where it gets relatively easier to bat once the batsmen settle down … Aus itself was bowled out for 120 odd v Eng batting first

PPS Also note that Aus was close to 100 in around 13 overs. I was one of the only guys who thought Aus would win (see the match thread) … Many of these guys actually thought Aus would get bowled out for 130 odd

When batsmen score less than 50, which is most of the time (off the blocks quickly in most innings) ... If SDP bats in the top 4, his SR will soar even further

However, I agree that your win predictions were most spot on as compared to anyone else here. 
May be it is not far away that most posters will agree with the accolades you shower upon SDP very soon.

Read the thread below and see the guys writing against Pant at that time and now praising him (there are many examples of such laggards)

 

 

 

Take Sehwag, Dhoni  or any such type of batsman who is relatively unconventional and you will find many posters writing against them. After SDP, someone else will come and they will write against him. It is a never ending story. 

 

We ask ourselves that we have the richest cricket board, IPL, 1B population, etc., but why we cannot dominate in a sport that is primarily India centric. The reason is simple - the mindset and a culture that does not understand sports relatively speaking. India's enemy is its own population (look at what the ppl have done to the river systems in India for e.g.) because of its thinking process. Anyone who wants to do anything good for India will have to fight its own population first.
