The Indian Pace Bowling Pool need more Bounce Bowlers ... We suffered in South Africa 2022 because we could not use bounce as a weapon against ther top 6 batters

they will bring in unadcutter if paras goes out as bowling coach.

We can use Zak or Nehra if they want Indian coach

else Steyn or Bond will be great choices

not sure about zaheer. nehra seems like a reasonable option.

agree that steyn or bond would be really valuable

he will continue to repeat this mantra of his. zak was fast-medium, whereas nehra was genuine quick for a while. that's why one can see the diff in their atittudes

No idea what they are doing with Tyagi.  He's being poorly handled. If he is fit, he needs to travel with the Indian team as a net bowler wherever they go and should play in A teams when they have matches. Same with Umran, Mohsin, Khaleel.

I don't know how a talent like Tyagi is being totally ignored  !!

He does not even get to play for hia State.

What's happening here !!

Focus should be on

Prasidh

Tyagi

Mohsin

Sen

Khaleel

as the next gen bounce bowlers who can all cross 90 mph+

If we can get even 2 of these guys to be a part of the playing 11, we will see a vast difference in our bowling, provided they are bowling at full pace.

it is simple. they want him to become demoralized, and become trundler, before he is selected.

2 lefties and 3 righties. good combo. no need for siraj, shami, umesh, ishant any more.

Interesting stat. Indian attack only bowled 19 bouncers in this last test compared to 50 by England.

Even in s.africa last 2 tests included.

India averaged only 19 bouncers in 6 games.

England had 70.

We lost the game right there in s.africa and England.

Shameful.

Our bowling has changed since bharat arun retired. Post 2021 we stopped bowling bouncers wtfffr????

Yes batting sucks but bowling also regressed post 2021.

Wtf happend to bouncers ??

Guess this is where being tall helps. Easy to bowl bouncers.

That's why need one tall bowler to complement bumrah and shami.

Also @Vijy bro, we need get rid of these shitty batsmen as soon as they become famous. 5 years Max is the time limit. They slack off as soon as they get rich.

Even bowlers. I want to see bowling changes every 5 years. They earn far too much money and refuse to put in the hard yards once they attain fame.

Shami is 40. He needs to be a sub bowler. He is still quality though.

Siraj ever since he started wearing chains and rolling with miyaan bhai has changed. Attitude has changed. Sooperstar culture needs to die.

Enough is enough.

Perform or perish. Investment banking style..period

Bounce based bowlers win games. Period.

We need one to compliment our main attack who have stopped bowling bouncers.

batters and spinners can sustain quality for longer periods than pacers. rather than fixed time limit, I think the threshold should be performances & attitude. when one/both suffer, then it's time to go

yes, both bowling and batting have regressed. even if Boom and co have not gone down so much in pace, they have gone down greatly in aggression, hitting the pitch hard, bouncers, etc.

Yea what happened. I do understand batsmen not giving our bowlers enough rest because they barely bat time in the second innings. They capitulate and bowlers are rendered ineffective due to lack of rest. But still, very few bouncers post 2021 has clearly shown us that bowling has regressed. We need one tall bowler badly.

We also need to see that aggression and effective bouncer barrage we utilised before again.

Fear is the key to get batsmen out. Bouncers instils that fear.

Bouncers, beamers, and yorkers. the middle of the trio should be used sparingly though.

Indians have always been poor at using the bouncer as a set up delivery.

When bouncers are used freely then batsmen are circumspect about coming on the front foot.

Which means, even when there is minimal movement on offer, this circumspect front foot movement, due to sufficient bouncer usage, often induces edges.

But we just like to float the ball up

We need to replace Siraj with Prasidh. Even Ishant wasnt a bounce bowler but Prasidh can be

indians are too goody-goody, that's the issue right there. need to use the bouncer-yorker (or full length) combo more. even slip in a beamer or two if possible.
