A 14 year long international career, 100+ tests, missed IPL to play county, has played for Delhi at short notice on so many occasions. Cut him some slack. Vijy 1

He had so much potential when he started playing Test cricket. On Aus tour, he was bowling at around 150kph with pace and bounce. But he realized that he can prolong his career if he bowled only at about 75% capacity and he never bowled like that again except for one innings at Lords. 100+ Tests for a bowling average of 32 is pathetic. He survived because he made statements like he could jump from 24th floor if Dhoni asked for it. And he didn't skip IPL to play county cricket. He did so only because he didn't get picked in IPL and the only way for him to stay in Indian team was to play county cricket.
