Chakdephatte Posted April 8, 2022 Posted April 8, 2022 They needed Gill to play two absolute gems to win two 'tight' games. Not sure how long it can continue. Some day, this middle order is getting exposed. Also, Hardik, we expect better from you. His tuk tuk could have costed them the match.

Such things can be said about almost any team - if Russell/Cummins or DK, or Livingston, …, … What is important is to find a way to win! In some other game, the team will do something else to win (it can be a direct hit, a great catch, Rashid Khan hitting a couple of 6s, ….) Edited April 9, 2022 by zen Lord 1

GH will find it hard to sustain.

For all you know GH could have a Rajasthan Royals 2008 or Rising Pune 2017 season with all players firing but usually it fizzles out. Batting is too shaky...bowling is better but if Lockie and Shami go for runs, they won't know what to do.

Balanced according to whom (opinion of toxic cricket fans or fanboys of those so called balanced teams does not matter)? Edited April 9, 2022 by zen

Such an exciting team with Gill, Sudharshan, Abhinav.. and of course Rashid, Shami, Fergusson and Pandya @zen Add AFG’s Gurbaz and Noor … WI’s Alzaari Joseph & Drakes … There is a left arm pacer Yash Dayal as well. I guess, GT is keeping him for later games so he can come in as a relatively unknown quantity
