As of now:

1 All-phase AR (Pandya)

1 Death bowler (Nattu / Arshdeep / Bhuvi)

1 Middle/Death spinner (Chahal / Kuldeep / Bishnoi)

1 PP Strike bowler (Umesh / Shami / Avesh)

1 Middle-phase enforcer (Bumrah/Umraan)

ur forgetting chahar

Shami shudnt be even in consideration as he is a poor t20 bowler

As of now

  • I wanna have bumrah - 1 over pp, 1 middle phase , 2 death or on some days here n there
  • Umran middle phase only - Max 1-1 over in PP and depth depending on his progress
  • Hardik - 1 over PP thats it rest middle Phase (although he has been excellent in PP but in international cricket keep it max one)
  • One over shud be kept for spinner in PP as some openers in world have shown some chink against spinners- Roy, Babar, rizwan, de kock

Now if u wanna play umran need a strong PP bowler who can also atleast bowl 1 in death - Chahar for sure can do that , Umesh Post PP is leaking runs, Bhuvi not moving the new ball much or else he was an all phase bowler in t20. Avesh wanna see more of him in PP now specially now that pitches will start to be flat n later slow

Umran-Harshal-Nattu Cant play in Same XI as then New ball becomes an issue

Deepak Chahar has a poor track record in Australia. Horses for courses, right? Does he offer anything except swing? But if you insist, I'll exchange him for Bumrah, who is also a mediocre T20 bowler.

Shami is an attacking bowler with killer instincts. I'll see how he progresses further as his team is certain to play-offs. I included him in place of Prasidh, who failed me with his weak and one-note thinking. Avesh / Umesh / Shami - that's the order as of now.

just one series that to he was carrying an injury since IPL

yes his eco at death is good as compare to shami, prasidh, umesh (who leak a lot) + batting

yea but thats not enough- there is a reason he has failed in t20 for yrs . Reason - weak hard length, predictble with lengths , bowls high % of length balls at death which goes in stands . He is very easy to lineup in t20. Take his last game against RR where he kept feeding crap to butler at start. Ok if you bowl a good ball to a batsman and he hits its fine but u cant keep feeding crap . Same he did in Wc game when he kept feeding lengths to rizwan towads leg stump line which was rizwan biggest strength .

Prasidh at this point is a better option then shami in t20 although shami isnt even a good benchmark

dhawan is also attacking but has failed, t20 does need diff kind of skils in batting n bowling

I forgot to add Harshal. Done.

That is because he is a **** bowler for death phase. I'd use him in 3-1 or 2-2 combination. Zero overs in death.

Anyway, the tournament has not even crossed half the mark. Let's wait for more data to arrive at conclusions.

Injury-prone bowler. Another negative for Chahar. I don't want him anywhere near Australia during Oct-Dec, 2022.

Don't mind me. I'm a little drunk and depressed. I wasted one week and a Monday on a banal waste of time called cricket.

Do you realize these cricketers make money by monetizing our attention? The more time we spend, the richer they get? They want us to remain losers by robbing us of our time and potential so that they can continue to buy 6 BHKs in Worli. Some lotus-eaters want twenty IPL teams so that can spend 365 days hooked to this crap.

I'm out. Assume this to be my last post here.

How about this?

1 PP Strike Bowler (Khaleel)

2 Death specialists (Nattu & Harshal)

2 Middle specialists (Kuldeep / Chahal & Harshal)

2 PP/Middle All-rounders (Pandya & Sundar)

Bowling lineup

Pandya (backup: Chahar)

Sundar (backup: Jaddu)

Khaleel (backup: Prasidh)

Nattu (backup: Bhuvi)

Harshal (backup: Bumrah)

Kuldeep (backup: Chahal)

2 All-rounders

4 proper bowlers

Bowling Strategy

PP

Khaleel - 2

Pandya - 1

Sundar - 1

Nattu - 1

Kuldeep - 1

Middle

Harshal - 2

Kuldeep - 3

Khaleel - 1

Pandya / Sundar - 2

Nattu - 1

Death

Nattu - 2

Harshal - 2

Khaleel - 1

why is bumrah a backup ?

Bumrah is an ineffective T20 bowler because he bowls a defensive line. At most he offers economy, which Harshal also offers. Basically, Khaleel is what Bumrah should have been. An all-phase strike bowler with a decent economy.

How people think we will be good with Bumrah?

You meant without, but typed with? If you meant without, which means you contend my opinion of leaving out Bumrah, it would be nice if you can offer me some past heroic of Bumrah in T20I where he got us wickets upfront? He flopped in WC T20, didn't he? He is not doing good in IPL. And his last 5-year record in Australia T20Is is not that great either. So, he should find a spot in T20s because of his performance in ODIs?
