In DWW, John Dunbar interacts with the natives on the western frontier. In LTS, Nathan Algren, gets to understand the way of the Samurai. Which one is the better film? Which one is your favorite?

It was touted to be an Oscar vehicle for Tom Cruise, but he didn’t. I have watched DWTW about 10 years ago, felt it was overrated to win all the awards
