There are rumours floating around as during this independance day, there is a chance that a match gets organized between Indian XI and Rest of World XI.

Assuming if it happens and it most likely be a T20 match, what would be your XI from Rest of World.

Indian XI will be :-

Rohit

Rahul/Kishan

Kohli

SKY

Pant

Pandya

Jadeja

Bhuvi

Harshal

Bumrah

Yuzi

ROW XI :-

Jos Buttler

David Warner

Kane Williamson(c)

Glenn Maxwell

David Miller

Shimron Hetmyer

Andre Russell

Rashid Khan

Kagiso Rabada

Dwayne Bravo /Lockie Ferguson

Trent Boult

To those still interested, who you think will win?

Don't think rich boards like CA ECB will go for this... As they all have their own games scheduled.

We will see gareeb boards like WI SL SA & NZ maybe trying to field a XI.

Guptill

Dickwella (wk)

Rilee Russsow

Pooran

Miller (c)

Rovman Powell

Pretorius

Shamsi/Hasranga

Mustafiz

Ferguson

Tye

A XI resembling to this might play.

SA, NZ and SL combined with WI can make a pretty strong XI too. I know England will probably send none. Neither would Australia but rest can.

Qdk(wkt)

Guptill

Williamson (c)

Pooran

Miller

Hetmyer

Russell

Rashid

Hasaranga

Rabada

Yeah that looks like a good world XI... I'd swap Boult for Fizz or Chameera.

Boult generally gets rested for bilaterals & stuff.  More chance of mercenary Ferguson playing than him.

I dont see us beating this team at all.

Hahaha... playing ROW XI as though we are world no.1. might want to try and play an associates XI and hope that we scrape through. even Ireland (barely a Test team; a borderline associate-level team) gave us trouble.

yes, we can win "hearts and minds" while losing in reality by 50 runs or 5 wkts.
