^^what is the rule change? Can’t read the newspaper pic.

there was a 2011 Sports code held as a benchmark by the courts that defines certain responsibilities on the national sports federation, i.e. some degree of accountability instead of being a fully-funded independent fiefdom.  The current govt issued  a "relaxation" clause that allows these federations to use their own discretion to redefine basic standards for safety, athlete facilities, competitions etc.  i.e. Gives corrupt 'officials' a legal shield to carte blanche do whatever the F they want - or do absolutely nothing with the funds they receive - fail to hold competitions, fail to provide facilities, etc, and they cannot be held accountable anymore.

2010 was CWG scam and if there are any irregularities the Central Vigilance committees or investigative agencies active in 2010 would have been caught by them with the changed rules. Has any corruption or scam to the scale of 2010 CWG been reported?

Not really. It’s strange that none have raised a stinker. With so much focus on other sundry Issues, sports is least to be bothered, political debate jo karna hain, elections, party hopping, Govt girana etc. Plus courts come in with CoA mess and all goes for a toss. Sports administration is highly institutionalized corruption, favoritism and a mess

point is that a lot of BJP supporters love to moan and whine about decades of mismanagement, bad decisions by 'Kaangress'.  Got to have the ability to be honest and consistent enough to criticize similar actions by a government that is run by a party that you 'prefer'.

Bad decisions are bad esp in disaster management etc where one cannot blame previous Govt.

Sports performances have been improving a lot since before. Athletes have themselves been at the forefront of saying that things have improved beyond recognition from before. Perhaps that may have to do something with this?

The boxing association and rifle Association have come in for a lot of criticism lately as their results have been very poor. What are you expecting?
