If it’s full match, donon aaram se jeetenge yaar. These are minnows we are talking about

If it's a full match. It's still drizzling in Adelaide. :facepalm:Funnily, the weather is clear after tomorrow for whole week.

IF SA beats Pak, both SA and IND would qualify, unless IND loses to ZIM and BD beats PAK with a margin that takes BD’s NRR over IND’s

Ek scenario aur hai. Pak beat both SA and Ban. SA v Ned gets washed out.then Pak and India go through assuming India beat Zim

There can be multiple scenarios, the one you quoted was based on SA beating Pak.

SA has a NRR advantage so if NED-SA game is a washout, Pak, in the scenario you quoted, would need to win both games with huge margins.

No. If at same points, one with more wins goes through first. So Pak will just have to win and not with huge margins. Same with Bangladesh. If SA v Ned gets washed out winner of Pak v Ban goes through after Pak beats SA

Ok so it is wins, then NRR (unfair to teams facing washouts as that is out of their control. NRR relatively is related to team’s performance).

From cricinfo: " If host country Australia qualify for the semi-finals, they will play in Semi-Final 1 which is being played in Sydney on 9th November 2022"

AUS if it qualifies for KO will play at SCG regardless of if it finishes 1st or 2nd in its group.

Kiwis qualify … amazing consistency

If Eng qualifies, NZ will play at SCG & Eng at Adelaide (unless its NRR magically goes past NZ’s)

If Aus qualifies, it will play at SCG, while NZ  will play at Adelaide
