Number Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Aus opt to bowl Wood missing from England side but pretty much both sides full strength. England (Playing XI): Jos Buttler(w/c), Alex Hales, Dawid Malan, Ben Stokes, Harry Brook, Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, David Willey, Chris Jordan, Adil Rashid, Reece Topley Australia (Playing XI): David Warner, Aaron Finch(c), Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Tim David, Matthew Wade(w), Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood
Nikola Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 I think this would be Australia's playing xi in the worldcup. Green's last few failures made it easy for them. Idk why liam livingstone isn't playing maybe unfit or something else england will be playing same xi in worldcup too.

Read that he is targeting the warm up game against Pakistan for return. Nikola 1
Nikola Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Some swing there so bhuvi, arshdeep could be pretty handy in such conditions.
Nikola Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 (edited) Don't remember last time i saw starc not bowling in first four over of t20 match. Edited October 12, 2022 by Nikola
Black Zero Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Both right hander openers than both left handers number 3 and 4, i think England should mix it up, but how it can be done, maybe push Hales to 3 and stokes to open, Because at top with liscnece to go hard may work for stokes, because so far his T20I stats are very mediocre for player of his Talent.

They have not been able to adjust stokes
Nikola Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Stokes retired from wrong format. He should have played till 2023 worldcup atleast. Ankit_sharma03 and Black Zero 2
Number Posted October 12, 2022 Author Posted October 12, 2022 Stokes and Pant Both can do impossible things in Tests but struggle in T20Is. Black Zero and Frustrated 2

But the league money is In the Tamasha format, even though he sucks in this format specially in internationals. It's just a curious case, a bit like Pant who too has all the talent and shots but haven't delivered yet, maybe they actually need bit of time to settle which you can't afford in T20s.
Black Zero Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Lol stonis is Oz version of Hardik lucky Pandya as bowler.
Nikola Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 (edited) As said in last match england's batting looks quite weak when buttler goes early. Their middle order isn't as strong as people think. Edited October 12, 2022 by Nikola Ankit_sharma03 1
Black Zero Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Now this is going to be such a borefest now, Eng won't score more than 150 and it will walk in the park for Oz.
Number Posted October 12, 2022 Author Posted October 12, 2022 Even with Mark Wood there is bowler in England side who can change the game with the ball.

rollingstoned Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 He's looked like his place should be under threat recently but there are times when Malan's batting looks like a dream and so elegant.
