In the world cup, most of the big games including the knockouts are at 3-4 AM EST ... Could get too tiring to watch all the big games.

^*8 pm is ideal, envy you.  Remember watching WC15 SF at 11:15 PM till 715 AM , to watch India lose horribly

Probably keeping the players, who are used to the conditions, relatively fresh!
