Vk1 Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 People are talking about trophies we will see in next few years struggling to even make it to semis.. forget about trophies we are back to 80s/90s cricket when we used to be happy for making it to semis or finals
Vk1 Posted October 23, 2022 Author Posted October 23, 2022 any player above 33/34 seems to be the root cause for all our defeats.. rohit/dhoni/kohli etc once they crossed their prime age they are just sucking really bad in icc events
Vk1 Posted October 23, 2022 Author Posted October 23, 2022 people used to break houses of cricketers till 2007.. imagine the kind of pressure players were playing in then.. now these guys have ipl and everything is forgotten by April.. and still they can't handle the pressure
R!TTER Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 More than that no one can handle the pressure of big games any more! At our peak we had 2-4 all weather players like GG, Yuvraj & of course SRT, maybe even MS when in form When you don;t have the cojones to handle pressure consistently no amount of youth will save you. In that sense I think the IPL gen is a pampered bunch, we should really get these prima donnas in line if we are to win the next world event otherwise cricket is heading the IPL World series way Vk1 1
Vk1 Posted October 23, 2022 Author Posted October 23, 2022 Pakistan/ NZ teams have really benefited from BBL/ CPL etc franchise leagues..
Chakdephatte Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 Aged quickly. A senior 34 years old wins us singlehandedly. Rohit will also play one blinder soon.
zen Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 Based on rare/infrequent innings, Dhoni should have continued after 2019 SF nevada 1
