Yes, Kuldeep Sen, with a 8 wicket haul in the Irani Cup, should replace Shami in tests. 

 

And it's true that if Sen plays and has a good ODI then he would boost his chances in tests.

No LAF, no leg/wrist spinner no bowler in top 5 batters, this is clueless selection. Looks like towards the final stages of WC2023 team selection they will make few hasty calls on some player and include them into the team without knowing their potential and utility to the team.

 

Do these selectors not have a checklist kind of thing, at least try to select a complete team. Selecting both Patidar and Tripathi does not make any sense.

Yes -Dropping any1 of them would be hard on that particular player, if they had to select both then they should have rested/dropped exp. players- I think u can do that against BD.

 

A new leg spinner should have been there , There have been controversial decisions and selections in the past but this time its clueless , looks like team is selected by someone who does not even know what is cricket is and could have easily been confused with cricket insect.

 

Mukesh Choudhary -CSK LAF should have been tried in place of either Thakur/Chahar. not totally sure of Tewatia's bowling but lets try him also. In IPLs looked like he has the clutch genes.
