How many farmers can afford them ? For farmers too burning is cheaper than hiring machines. Government need to subsidize them.

The cost of these new farming tools presents a hurdle to achieving widespread adoption. Gurdeep’s farm is not big enough to justify buying a seeder that will be used only a few days per year. So he partnered with a group of nine farmers to buy a Super Seeder and a reversible plough. “We also rent them out to other farmers,” he says.

The Government of India's Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare launched a program in 2018 to help farmers in the states of Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh (plus some areas around New Delhi) buy the new equipment. The subsidies include 50% of the machines’ price for individual farmers, while the government covered 80% on machines bought by farmers groups and cooperatives.

Next year, Its G20 Summit in Delhi. Whatever way, we need to find a solution and implement that before the deadline. Modiji and Gadakariji must take it on them, as a personal project to get it done

Wonder what time of year, it could be a spectacle if in winter.

They'll shift it to a southern city of it's in winter, easier than center+state+lakhs of farmers working together.

But here is the thing they started giving subsidies from 2018 but still falling short of adoption. Either the govt is doing poor job of marketing or farmers not buying in to the idea.  How are repairs going to be covered ? It’s definitely a start but need to how it will work in long term.
