zen Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 An interesting idea that allows teams to be more competitive by removing weak links like 5th-6th bowlers or extend the batting if required. Imagine a team planning to attack the weak 5th bowler but the team substitutes a bowler who has bowled his quota with a death overs specialist. Or if a team loses 3-4 quick wickets, it strengthens its batting by bringing in a better batting option.
