Different format requires different players. SKY is already approaching 33 years old. SKY isn't even in contention of playing ODI as of yet, where i think he can provide useful contribution as a finisher. 

 

I would like to see Jaiswal taking opening spot and Gill move to middle order. If he fails like he is failing opening, it would time to move on.

SKY should have been number 5 in odis long time ago.He is 100 times upgrade over a guy like Rahul.SKY would be perfect stopgap as he is one of the very few Indian batsmen who are playing without fear of failure along with Pant and to some extent Iyer.

 

 I don't think future number 4 is in the team yet.

I always liked the attitude of Kohli but he was batting even slower than Pujara..he has giveb great moments to Indian cricket with agression,backing fast bowlers and masterful chases but its time he needs to rethink over his current batting approach or retire..

I would like to see him play tests for 2-3 more years. in this way, his average will go below VVS and approach that of azhar
