My only gripe with all these speedstars is they come to team, bowl few overs or play few matches then out with nack hip leg shoulder finger knee ankle injuries ( did i miss anything).. prasidh krishna, kuldeep sen, navdeep saini, deepak chahaar..whatever said and done Ishant Sharma to me is the most underrated pace bowler india ever had.. this guy started in 2007 and was still bowling well till last year ( remember the Lords match.. Bairstows wicket just before tea).. he hasnt got the appreciation he deserves after being the work horse for 105 tests..

he didn't get the appreciation because he was quite poor bowling-wise for 60-70 tests. his fitness can be admired, but that is not that the same as being appreciated as a bowler. people did appreciate him at his peak. I am grateful for his 3-4 year peak, and the early 1-2 year peak at the start of his career

IPL is the worst place to judge pace bowlers tbh. E.g. Siraj.

55 mtrs boundary so a bowler getting proper hit or bowler producing mishit both will go for 6s. Flattest wickets. Also it is at a time of April May when ball just doesn't swing after 1-2 over.

I dont have much faith in mavi. Unless he really improves batting. At best he can become a number 8.

he will trundle at first opportunity. his batting is no. 9 level.
