Bairstows wicket just before tea).. he hasnt got the appreciation he deserves after being the work horse for 105 tests.. he didn't get the appreciation because he was quite poor bowling-wise for 60-70 tests. his fitness can be admired, but that is not that the same as being appreciated as a bowler. people did appreciate him at his peak. I am grateful for his 3-4 year peak, and the early 1-2 year peak at the start of his career Edited December 29, 2022 by Vijy Lord 1

Number Posted December 31, 2022 Posted December 31, 2022 (edited) IPL is the worst place to judge pace bowlers tbh. E.g. Siraj. 55 mtrs boundary so a bowler getting proper hit or bowler producing mishit both will go for 6s. Flattest wickets. Also it is at a time of April May when ball just doesn't swing after 1-2 over.
