If I had to pick a male voice for such songs, I'd choose Bhimsen Joshi. Matchless.

Perhaps it boils down to my perception of most men as scumbags, who have their brains in their gonads, and are primarily directed from that part of their anatomy, going through life cheating their wives, ogling at women old enough to be their daughters, and generally spending half their existence jacking off. Are there any devotional songs from this particular genre sung by women? You know the one I love, written by Iqbal, sung by children? Have you heard anything similar? :hysterical:I miss Dhondy's posts.....:((
DomainK Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 here it is YouTube - Harshit-Ek haseena thi That song is very difficult to sing because of the way the original was sang. It's almost impossible to match Kishore Kumar's energy and passion in that song. But the guy was not bad at all.
