ludhianvi Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 Well played for the 14 games guys. Too bad it didnt happen in the semis but I enjoyed the games that I was able to watch. Given us a pleasure in discovering some good prospects for the future. Players like Marsh and Pomersbach showed what they could do in the upcoming seasons. Sanga and Jayawardene along with Yuvi showed flashes of great batting. Also had a chance to see some youngsters:the likes of Uday Kaul and Tanmay Srivastava. Add to that, Piyush Chawla who can be a good bowler for India in the future and Pathan seems to have discovered his bowling after some time. And not to forget some domestic local boys. Got to see Gagandeep Singh who had been taking heaps of wickets in the domestic setup. The verdict on him is that he wont be making the Indian team soon. Chennai played better cricket and totally demolished the opposition today. Hats off to Dhoni and his team.:hatsoff:

arkay Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 Punjab played very well the entire league. They succeeded well because of the consistency in the top. The top 3 were in runs all day. Unfortunately, things did not click for them. Full marks to Dhoni for upsetting their rythm. Wessels nd Dhoni strategically combined well to upset the kings xi. It would be interesting to see how warne and dhoni plan tomorrow.
