Vk1 Posted August 21, 2023 Posted August 21, 2023 we are playing world cup at home - but can we say that about others? esp Eng/Aus as they come here so often for bilaterals.. not just 3/4 but almost their entire squad playing IPL for years.. lets say even if we roll out a slow turner in knockouts - would it be an advantage for us for sure? I doubt that.. This might be the Eng's 1975/79/83 moment for us.. so many top players used to play in those conditons that Eng never had the luxury to call it as home worldcup.

Even in 2011 world cup, we lost to SA and England tied with us. This team is perfectly capable of losing the plot against any top side.
