They beat Aus 2-1 at home... After test series loss.  (First series win in like 2 decades lol) 

Haven't beaten Eng since 2005 in a LOI series. 

 

Cricinfo showed they won 19 outta 28 ODIs in last 3 years or something. 

 

I think other sides have been bad or not playing full strength teams & performance has dropped...  Hence Pakistan's rise. 

India being pathetic has also helped...  But at least we won a away Eng ODI series in 2022... Which was kinda huge.

Our loss to Bangladesh was shameful. We let their no.8 and no.11 to add 50 runs. Then we let their no.8 to score a century.

I don't remember watching Rashid beating a top 5/6 side with the bat...  He came closer in T20 WC game vs Australia but Aus never looked like losing. 

Unless he performs vs Big sides he will always be a league specialist.

Pakistan has never lost an odi to afghanistan ever. They went up to number 1 eatlier this year.

We made Mehedi Hasan look like Bradman in every game.  He actually bats like a tail ender against all other teams.  His Odi avg is only 18. LOL. That says it all.

Were hopeless in NZ too before BD ( lil different side)  Umran was the only shining light.  

Lost like 1-0.. Which could have been 3-0 if not for rain saving us. 

We have been pathetic for a while. 

 

Gill came in & we beat NZ at home (3-0) & SL (3-0) & we arrested the slide somehow.  But that looks like a million years ago now lol

On these kind of oitches bangladesh will legit beat india a lot. Like in that odi series. Their bowlers will be a nightmare.

Almost every top 4/5 side too.  Also Pakistan has lost a T20I series to them.  Among top teams..  Afg has come closer to beating Pakistan only.

BD is yet to beat India in India. Also in neutral venues after that shock win in 2007 they lost all the matches.
