Then why did they (BCCI) did so much drama about not sending the team to play in Pakistan? If board officials can travel why cant players?

 

It not only robbed us fans the pleasure of beating them in their home ground but now have to deal with crappy Lankan stadiums. Hearing that India Pakistan game on 2nd Sept may get washed out due to rain. Aur rakho Sept me matches in Srilanka. Atleast they could have kept in Dubai.

Yeah should have visited Pakistan and played all the matches there since even all the Gora teams are visiting Pakistan so India doesn't have a safety excuse anymore. The Whole Asia Cup has been ruined due to being held in different countries so much chaos and confusion. 

 

A match in Lahore, Karachi or Multan would have made up for great viewing rather than those boring venues in SL. Dull stadiums built in middle of nowhere, zero atmosphere pathetic.

Just imagine the thrill of beating the hell out of them in those flat decks of Lahore, Karachi & Multan...uffff. Still remember Sehwag thrashing Pakistan all over in National Stadium Karachi in 1st ODI 2004...great memories. Now we have to deal with humid, low and slow, drum beating Srilankan stadiums in middle of monsoon.

SL stadiums & infrastructure >>>>>>>anything Pakistani 90's stadium can muster. 

R Premadasa is a iconic venue.  Pallekelle is a scenic beauty.  

 

At least players can feel safe over there without entire state & establishment OTT security measures. 

Right call by BCCI & GoI.  We should not visit Pakistan in near future.  I am open to bilateral cricket in neutral venue though.
