The Blasphemy law is the gift that keeps on giving.

if Gilgit joins India on it's own accord, nothing like it.

What a time to be alive!

It won't join India..  Unless we invade Pakistan.  We have seen these unrests before.

Need to start pushing from our side...  Get Shia nations like Iran on our side & raise these issues on world forums.

Don't think Indian Govt.  Is interested in PoK in short term.  Maybe after 2030.

Indian intersts should be in Gilgit and Balouch purely by proxy and not by any occupation, two areas that were gifted to Pakistan without them demanding before partition. Call it Congressi lack of strategic interests post 1945. They were busy coaxing Jinnah not to go for Pakistan, while British backstabbed India in Gilgit

Gilgit & Chitral were Pro Pakistan even before Partition...  Even Poonch in modern day JK..  There was a Poonch rebellion as well.

We came up with decent chunk of land in the end.

Full blown Kashmir war would go onto late 50's

People support us a different matter. I am talking of armed forces, British helped conquer Gilgit due to thwart any Russian interests.Balochistan wanted to merge with India, Nehru was like how can a country border be bifurcated? Later, they did get East and West Pakistan across different regions
