Don't have high hopes, his pace is still up & down. Only one delivery was broadcasted which showd 129k...but for Tyagi speedometer is working for almost every ball. One bad thing which I see is he now has a visible pot belly, never a good sign for a young fast bowler...he is only 25. Link to comment

saneindian Posted October 24, 2023 Share Posted October 24, 2023 Umran Malik seems to have regressed massively. Struggling to pick wickets even against sides like Meghalaya. Just 2 wickets in 5 matches. His wicket taking ability has simply disappeared. Hope someone in the Indian cricket setup is keeping an eye on him and Tyagi and will not let them drift. Will be massive loss if we lose such talents. Wonder if Troy Cooley, the bowling coach at NCA and India A bowling coach, has been allowed to draw up a proper roadmap for emerging pacers. Fast accurate and onto stumps...no more timepass of bowling short of length. Ends with 3-27(4 overs).
