In 2023, India has 3 pacers bowling 150 kph+ .... Mayank Yadav, Kartik Tyagi and Umran Malik

Playing more than one season  FC for young Indian fast bowler is detrimental IMO. They start acquiring bad habbits and most of them tend to lose pace.

 

These guys who are good are wanted by Indian captains in all formats. IPL every year means they have no time to rest their bodies.

 

Holding played 60 tests in 12 years. Marshall played 81 test in 13 years. They did play lot of country cricket. Did they go flatout in those matches is not known. But they always had breaks to recoup.

 

These days guys like Cummins and Starc have skipped IPL in some seasons to just rest but that luxury is not there for Indian fast bowlers.Will BCCI allow Indian fast bowlers to skip IPL.

Also don't forget weather is a major part. County cricket is played in cool England weather. 

 

Yes those w.indies quicks got ample rest. And no t20 commitment not as much odi either.

Both Bumrah and Shami did that before test debut and prepared their bodies for the rigours of 5 day cricket..

 

Otherwise they won't be able to sustain intensity and pace and may break down even. 

All south african young quicks first play first class cricket before debuting. 

 

Burger has 34 ish games in first class

 

Steyn had like 90 plus

 

Sure they may not go all out in those games but it gets them acclimated to the rigour. 

 

For me one to 2 seasons of ranji is extremely important for all quicks. Get experience. Atleast play 10 to 20 games in one year. If you get around 20 to 30 games experience it will do you wonders in the long run. Look at shami and bum as you said. 

 

Also rabada played 30 40 first class games before debuting. Same with jansen. Ngidi is the only one whonplayed less and even he played 15 odd games before debut. 

 

Even nortje played quite a few games in first class. 2 seasons before debut.

I agree.The amount of cricket fast bowlers are playing these days is very very hard on their bodies.

yes, we have 3 of them. need to nurture them well, and play them too. As of now in the IPL, 1 is injured, 1 has barely been selected, and the other is not even being selected.

Why is Tyagi unable to get into playing XI even for his  local state teams and IPL team.

 

What happened to Umran's progress.It is fine and dandy to bowl 150k but you need to improve and play regularly for some team.

 

The attention which Mayank Yadav is getting shows how much each and every team covets fast bowlers.

 

No team is stupid enough to neglect express fast bowlers.If they are injured, teams will wait thru their injuries also.

lets hope he dsnt become 130-140 bowler after injury

130 to 140 without bounce is useless to me. 140 to 150 is ideal. 

 

Got to bowl like shamar Joseph in tests. 138 to 146.

Question is not the speeds what is worrying is both of them are unable to even crack their ipl teams as first choice bowlers.
