Ranji is lagging behind 1stly the quality of fast bowling is way down there, dibbly-dolly bowlers are getting picked and due to the batting style and swing helpful conditions these kind of bowlers getting tons of wkts and faster bowlers with some pace gets picked for runs as edges goes to the boundary. And in Ranji batter can score and rely on just 2 shots cover drives and flicks of the pads. if batters connects cover drive is 4 right away and if that does not go to slips or wkt keeper its a 4 to 3rd man flicks are saver and more productive shots.
