The Mahabharata discussion makes me wonder if Doland is Duryodhana, and all the nice rich Amree-desis are perhaps his Karnas? ;-)

Shakuni / Soros is deep state. Anyone who is president is Duryodhan. Elon is Sanjaya. UN / West is Driturashtra.

Larger picture. Have been following US election closely since two decades plus. Especially after 2000 results. The only logical conclusion I have come to is that path of US polity is leading to total batshit insanity. I know we are getting there but still 10 years away from proper division. Apart from 5% of vote based, rest have more or less committed, which implies that democracy for all practical purpose is over.

has led to.

One cannot be a rational, reasonable person and become President. They keep talking about the "silent middle" but that argument works only if the pres election is based on overall majority. The way the EC is set up, the crazies in a few states (incl mine) will decide everything. And the candidates know it and pander to it.

Spoken like a true blue democrat (crazies=deplorables?) say Urban vs rural votes. If it is decided only by popular vote, then all urban voters get to pick their choice while rural choice is overlooked for democracratic choice. In a parliamentary system, people’s choice then vote for the magical 272 MPs halfway mark, so rural and urban voters get to choose independently.

What can be avoided is voter registration for party affiliation. This causes the red and blue divide and parties focus only on 10-12 swing states. Take party registration out and let them keep guessing.

There are equal crazies among on the left as well.

Absolutely. And that is what I was alluding to. It seemed to you like I was targeting crazies from one side. But, I said the "candidates" know it and pander to them. It's the left crazies, along with the crazies on the right, who are deciding elections.

Soros is probably once all powerful Jarasandh who is already slain.

Shakuni is Peter Thiel who will be most dangerous man on the planet if Trump comes to power.  His plans are beyond our imagination.

Peter Thiel is the one funding JD Vance.

Peter Thiel is a literal Nazi an apartheid product... He will finish CIA & then it is a matter of time who will he come after.

I have seen somewhere he doesn't rates India as a serious power yet but that man is as dangerous as they come.

Why does he want to finish CIA? Any article where I can learn more about this?

CIA is the one keeping American hegemony at the top.

Theil's private intelligence company Palantir which is highly opaque worked with US Govt during Trump's tenure.

Edward Snowden the whistleblower exposed the spy network it created worldwide & how much power Theil would weild if it becomes mainstream.  Trump was extremely on board too.

CIA will be nothing in front of that.

There is plenty of stuff you can read about Theil.  Man is The Devil.

But shortly after walking out following a pro wrestler’s entrance music, Trump swiftly veered into a rambling anecdote about the late Arnold Palmer, the golfing legend after whom the local airport was named. The story, which seemed to serve little purpose beyond invoking a regional icon and which lasted nearly 15 minutes, included tangents on Palmer’s immense wealth and several offhand remarks about the Hall of Famer’s naked body.

“Arnold Palmer was all man, and I say that in all due respect to women, I love women. … This man was strong and tough, and I refused to say it, but when he took showers with the other pros they came out of there, they said ‘Oh, my God. That’s unbelievable,’” Trump said.

The anecdote prompted one rallygoer to comment, “I didn’t expect to hear that tonight.”

From there, Trump invited to the stage Antonio Brown, a former Pittsburgh Steeler star with a troubling legal background, called his Democratic opponent, Kamala Harris, a “sh*t vice president,” and attacked mail-in voting as screens urged his supporters to cast absentee ballots early.

I see that his gravitas doesn't work for you. But that's what I am saying. The country is broken if the other candidate can make this guy looking okay for top leadership role.

It's a bit like our situation. Not exactly. But moment we get frustrated by Modi and look to the other side, there is Rahul Gandhi. And he just doesn't learn. So you run back to Modi with all his ailing and flaws. The check is not working.

Kamala Harris is a disgrace. American people are being put in a very difficult position and they might go for the guy who they know. Known unknown devil thing.
