Salute to the unsung BCCI domestic scouts

Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Siraj came through the domestic system before scouted by IPL teams.

 

Even some bench players like Dube, Natarajan etc we associate with IPL have been in their domestic circuits. 
 

Guys like Rituraj, Sarfaraz, Rinku, SKY etc were regular domestic performers 

 

Shaw, Jaiswal, Gill, Arshdeep, Rohit. Virat all came through U-19 system.

 

I see IPL scouts recruiting some journeyman Australian or South African. However they seem to handpick players already picked by domestics or based on numbers.

 

I think full credit to BCCI for doing a stellar job and these unsung talent scouts

You gotta thank JOhn wright who played a part in discovering Jasprit Bumrah.   Whoever backed Arshdeep deserves a special mention.  Hope all the other under-19 promises take a leaft out of his book and show progress.  Arshdeep was a back up bowler for Nagarkoti, Porel, Mavi. Look where he is. Where they are. Not only he improved as a bowler he is fielding better. He even smashed a four against Amir which proved to be decisive in the end.

In addition to his bowling..he is putting lot of efforts in fielding and batting..no wonder he is improving..
