Sai Sudarshan has a high ceiling in ODIs, the way he played in RSA ODIs, has to be in the scheme of things for 2027 WC.

chepauk super gillies signed him....

 

he is not playing this season because of injury....

 

he used to clock 140+ when he came in at first...

 

last season his pace was down to mid 130's.......

 

unfortunately i think injuries will get better of him...

ajith ram is decent left arm spinner in the making...

 

if and when sai kishore graduates to senior team...

 

i expect ajith ram to slowly take up the ranks....

Are venues outside Chepauk any good for pacers? Those venues close to Western Ghats, like Coimbatore, should be friendlier to quicks I feel.

main issue is ground sizes are relatively small...

 

55-60 metres usually....

 

i would put more credence on judging bowlers than batters....

R Ashwin, Varun C, Sai Kishore, Sundar (when he returns from Zim), Ajith Ram, M Siddharth, M Ashwin. Am I missing more? 

 

Quantity and quality both very good. 

 

I expect Varun C to have a successful return to Indian national team, and watch out for Sai Kishore, similar to Santner/Vettori.

may be you mean Sonu Yadav....

 

if Sonu, he is mid 120's so calling him pace bowling is wrong...

yeah it's sonu ,he can clock over 130k even 137k
