It was all Gambhir and Dhoni in the final. Just like it was Gambhir in 2007 WT20 final. Wish we had someone as clutch as Gambhir instead of Kohli the last decade and we wouldn't have to wait a decade for a title.

Difference is that one player contributed to a win (Tendulkar's knocks in QF and SF in 2011), and one had to be carried by a once in a generation bowler in Bumrah. If not for Bumrah, we would be looking at a repeat of WT2022 SF where Kohli played a similar losing knock.

Tendu 85(115) also losing knock saved by bowlers n Raina, sehwag.. thanks to pak choking in fielding n batting.. Kohli top3 highest scorer for ind in 2011 finals, top scorer in 2013 ct n top scorer in 2024 ct... better than tendu

What kind of logic is this? After 2007 world cup debacle, ICC have pretty much guaranteed India a spot in the semi finals. Much easier to make and win finals now especially with like 3 good teams then before 2007.
