Pretty sad we wasted Bumrah-Shami combo and they couldn't get the support from our batsmen to win anything of note.

Bumrah-Kuldeep-Shami is the best 3 bowling options you can get in any pitch across the world.
Sadly Shami for some reason is seen as Test specialist only, while he is much better in ODI's too.
Bumrah is gold in Tests and T20's, marginally less effective in ODI's but he keeps on maintaining the pressure.

If Kuldeep and Bumrah were good in finals, they would have still made it tough.Shami had off day.Bowlers are allowed to win matches too.

Head was lucky too...so many close shaves.

But yeah, ultimately stats will show Indian quicks failed...Thankfully Bumrah has got the redemption in T20 WC. But poor Shami still has an ICC trophy missing from cabinet.

I agree he was lucky but after a while they gave up.Kuldeep was awful.Head has hurt Indian bowlers in all formats. They have no answer for him.

 

Shami deserves a trophy, hopefully he will one in test finals.
