Earlier description of mine about god/religion used to go as below. God is someone who presumably attaches deterministicity to what we otherwise think is a random event. Defining word here being "presumably". The only defensible stand in matters of faith is no stand. Since I hardly attach any value to the dictum that soemhow God question has been answered by anybody. Hence more sure about itself a religion greater share of my scorn gets reserved for it. So nothing has changed, still my greatest scorn is reserved for the most sure religious doctrine bordering on " There is no god but ............" stuff :haha:

Travelling UP to attend marraige and some land related matters kept me away from internet for a while. UP travel was eventful....did anyone notice, nowadays it's easy to get a railway reservation say for Mumbai-Allahabad compared to flight for Mumbai-Varanasi -- effects of India risisng perhaps. Got a chance to talk with Local BJP ex-MLA Mrs. Seema Dviwedi...she was all praise for Mayawati and her maneuvor to dent the the BJP votes from upper caste....I said it's about time UP comes out of the Congressi legacy of caste based politics. I am of opinion if BJP needs to gain in UP they should do something radical to gather and cling to kurmis, bhhooj, bhoomihars, kohars etc along with consolidating their Brahmin and Thakur/Kashtriya base, former are the undecided bhumiputras of UP who are swinging the results. It's not the so called Dalits!! good thing is that Congress has no future in UP now and realizing this Rahul baba has started all the Nautanki of sleeping and eating with so called "dalits".
