Regardless,pendency reasons are same everywhere in the world. Indian pendency issue is due to manpower issues in police and justice system where India has one of the worst judges/police per capita numbers. Conviction rate is calculated same everywhere :% convicted out of # of cases that went to court. Indias falling conviction rate is due to liberal ideology being rape-pasand. That's why liberal countries are world leaders at rape.

We can even commercialize it by starting an Indian Execution League (IEL) lol. Jokes apart, Sensationalism does work a lot in today's world and just by hanging a bunch of R+M every week we can give a sense of justice to the public and also strike some fear of consequences in potential rapists+murderers. It will surely bring down such crimes on women to a noticeable extent and no harm will be done as those being hanged deserved it anyway. This is far more effective than conducting candle light marches every few months...

Only thing that has effect is harsh penalties AND a high chance of conviction. This is where western libbus lie when they say harsh sentencing doesn't yeild lower crime rate: coz they hide the fact that west has low conviction rate and I don't care about death penalty as deterrent if I know I have 1 in 20 chance of paying penalty. This is also why crime rate is so low in middle east : they have very high likelihood of conviction and stiff penalty
