Asian Games booked till 2034.

 

2026 Nagoya/Aichi (Japan)

2030 Doha (Qatar)

2034 Riyadh (Saudi)

 

In terms of scale, Asian Games is much bigger than CWG. But, India wants to host one immediately, that is why this desperate bid. 

 

Winning 2038 Asian Games bid would have been better, all things considered, and we could have built on that to bid for Olympics some time in second half of the century.

 

Even Eng, Aus, Canada, NZ seem done with CWG and want it to end, that is why next year's edition (Glasgow) is so low key with very few events....no shooting, archery, hockey, cricket, wrestling, badminton, rowing, sailing, tennis, rugby, squash, TT etc. Heck even marathon, walking have been dropped from athletics....marathon is usually one of the biggest and most followed events.
