Djokovic aged 38 cannot compete with these two young guys anymore Still, being 3rd best in the world at 38 is a great feat. Sinner, Alcaraz are probably at the level of peak Big 3, maybe even better. MK55 Posted September 9, 2025 Posted September 9, 2025 This guy Alcaraz has got it all. Forehand, movement, power, huge serve, slices. He ended the match with back to back 132/134 mph serves iirc. He had a massive first serve percentage of which off course he won most of it. Nadal never had that serve. Alcaraz will be a power house on hard courts. Also very tactical. His interviews after the match, he alluded to the importance of power and the serve these days. And how he got back to tactics the day he lost the finals the last time
MK55 Posted September 9, 2025 Posted September 9, 2025 Also these oldies Djoker, Nadal, Federer were lucky they dint have guys like Alcaraz Sinner for almost their entire career. Things would have been a lot different then. This guy is just 22. Sinner 24.

bharathh Posted September 9, 2025 Posted September 9, 2025 These guys don't have the charm of Nole or Fedal. Completely lost interest in Tennis. Just follow it for the trivia.

Those oldies were also GOAT contenders, unlucky in a sense that you don't have 3 such behemoths in the same era. 5 such beasts playing at the same time is unlikely, rest of the tour might as well stay at home then.
