Who is the best fast bowler in our Domestic Cricket?

In Ranji --the answer would be none, no one can walk into test side. Most will need development cycles. Or you will find some1 like mukesh kumar, thakur etc- RA/LA nothing kind of bowlers.

 

Only a handful of quicks make the top 10 wkt takers in  ranji in last 3 years:

• L Kishan Singha (2022-23)

• Gaurav Yadav, V Vyshak, Deepak Dhapola (2023-24)

• Auqib Nabi, Manisankar Murasingh (2024-25)

 

Posted a list some time back of potentially good fast bowlers who would need development cycles, but they do not get into domestic sides.

 

There is hardly any tall fast bowler who is bowling 135 kmph and be bit consistent

If we go by those selected for A team ,and then Duleep Trophy,then we have Khaleel. 

 

The core group of fast bowlers are Bumrah Siraj Prasidh, Akashdeep. 

Next in line are Shardul,Rana ,Kamboj. 

 

Rana should have played in Duleep Trophy and A team against Australia.

Karthik tyagi has played well in UP T20. 

Probably only fast bowler fit enough to bowl fast as of today. Umraan is getting his rhythm back and mayank is recovering.

Umran and Mayank would be lucky if they ever play for India again. Red ball for India never happening.

Mayank Yadav will become fit and play for India in all the three formats. he will figure out a way to sort out his fitness.

 

i have  very high hopes from him , he will replace BOOM as BOOM may play for 1 to 2 years Max.

Tyagi isnt as fast as it used to be.

Sen played duleep trophy as well.

anil kumble shared in one of his interviews that sen is the fastest bowler of india.

I did watch the highlights, Kuldeep Sen was 139 if I can remember, the south indian bowlers were around 122 ...

If Kuldeep is bowling at 139 ,than its good sign,he should be added to As side
