Right word. She is not managing her expectations. Acres of areas were there on the leg side. She backed her self to clear the sole long on. Hit straight to her. It is a pattern. Always find the fielder with absolute precision.  I think she has played long enough for opposition to figure out where exactly she would hit.  No surprise any time she hits there is a fielder there.  If you look at Pratika she adjusts her whole body or wrists to place through gaps. Being a touch player she gets out when she tries to become a power player

And she didn't try to hit the previous ball which was a full toss. A player with her personality and game should be clearing boundaries at will on this ground. No presence of mind as well.

Actually this bowling is pie if you look at her ceiling. SOmehow she manages to play well below her potential in these events. It is one thing if you don't have talent. She is  too good when on song. You are right that was a brainess shot selection with one fielder ther.

There is a reason why they backed Pratika over Shafali even though Shafali is X factor.  Pratika is  so consistent with risk free cricket.

I think they rely too much on Smriti to provide impetus. This Harleen is KL Rahul pro max. SHe can be painful to watch for 30 overs. Pratika is impressive though. She is a noob. But she tries to find gaps. She is not a big hitter like SMriti though.
