Nature of the pitches in SL are like this. You have to play a lot more square of the wicket unless you come down the wicket as there is not much pace from what i see.

Indian batsmen will be playing Pakistan next year. They better find some formula to take on spinners here. If they hit the right length it is impossible to put away without taking significant risks. They should practice a lot of sweep shots.
