These are lottery pitches. Can't read too much into them.

Gabba and Adelaide tracks were absolutely fine.

England can be convincingly beaten on such tracks

Green made a meal of it by standing in strange batting positions. Unnecessarily he was walking down. Those were nothign deliveries.

Ridiculously tough pitch where Bumrah and Siraj were impossible to dismiss?

Against the old ball. Not in the first 40 overs when the ball was near impossible to play

Even if Green was rubbish, he's not the reason they are losing.

Australia pushed their luck with this pitch.  Cummins, Josh, Lyon all out. So they had to make their ordinary bowlers look good. In the end they ended up making their bowlers look good.

Most of them were making exaggerated movements needlessly. Steve smith did the same. Another 70 runs they are in the game plus Boland bowling early.

No. That had become a ridiculously tough pitch. This pitch is easing out.

After seeing Siraj who is a rabbit defending that easily Indians definately had no plans at all.

It was standard 4th inns pitch imo.. no actual demons as such

No need of making excuses for our mental midgets. We have just 2 successful 150+ chases in the last 10 years.

Australia won the first two tests without them as well. They got the pitch wrong this time and will pay the price for it, which might affect their WTC points.

Stokes can't score here also? With 10 runs left to get? What sort of joke of a batsman has this guy turned into?

I had a feeling you were gonna comment on his dismissal :hysterical:

It's inconsequential. When the ball is seaming like it was, no technique will work

Plenty of uneven bounce and lateral movement for the first 40 overs.

Their batting was definitely weaker suit.

Poms failed to exploit it.

In this Game they had the buffer of no Cummins & lyon and made it count

That may or may not be the case but I don't think on that Lords pitch it was necessarily an excuse.

It was tough. but not tough enough to be losing that many wickets in such a short span of time.

Carey didn't bail them out. That is another reason.
