Away series is part of FTP commitment between boards... Also don't think that series will happen anytime soon.

India is touring Afg/UAE in Sep for 3 T20s & after that Asian Games.

 

If KKR is planning based on availability of Kanglu Rehman then Venky Mysore may as well resign as CEO.

There are better options available.

 

Though I agree BCCI shouldn't have allowed any BD player in the auction list in the first place.

KKR management had to endure a lot of backlash as a result for no reason.

Bangla players might get hostile reception in Northern India if they make it to next round.

 

BD v Nepal in Wankhede could be another game.

Bro, I don't agree with this decision. Should have happened before auction. Unfair on franchise as well as player to do it now. 

 

What would they have done had Litton been picked up by some franchise? 

 

I feel for Hindu lives there but we maintain relations with Afghanistan despite them having eliminated every single Hindu/Sikh in their country. At least BD has millions of Hindus left, there is a section there which is not hostile to India. People like Shakib and Mashrafe are facing death threats there because of their pro-Awami/Hasina stance. 

 

We should have cancelled ties with them because they are harboring Pak terrorists, creating trouble in the border, and their ministers are extremely hawkish for no reason. But to justify this using some lynching cases is wrong. India too has seen lynchings of Muslims, Christians in recent times, UAE or Aus don't use that to blacklist our people from plying their trade there. Our messaging is totally wrong, and so is the timing.

Shakib can't even enter BD now because of the arrest warrant. Some bogus cases has been cooked up against him (including murder charges) for being close to Hasina.

Reckon that's done purely coz of Internal pressure within India as part of a token action. Secure some brownie points for the sake of it.

Jaishankar didn't waste a minute to go to BD and even met Pak assembly speaker... Diplomatic channels are being kept open.

 

Public to public contacts are beyond repair and there is nothing that can be done there.

 

Off topic I got more respect for Shakib and Mashrafe they have at least stayed true to their beliefs despite the threats.

Shakib already lives in US so he gives zero f**ks to BD and its politics anymore.

 

Liton has been beyond disappointing.  He is busy showing off his loyalty to BD, has been made national captain for T20 WC.

He won't speak at all for what's happening there also casually mock India on random football games.

At least on SM, Litton has spoken about attacks on Hindu festivals, symbols etc. He hasn't been totally silent, he is non-apologetic about practicing his faith unlike many Indian Hindus. Certainly better than our cricketers. 

 

He gets excessive hate from their radicals because many Bangladeshi Muslim women simp for him.
