Lone Wolf Posted January 1 Posted January 1 This year we will see 114 French Rafale deal inked.. it's just inevitable Only 36 Meteor sounds comical but either French themselves don't have the number or the backlog is too heavy from other buyers.
G_B_ Posted January 1 Posted January 1 I think the french themselves are stretched. This is why they are interested in pinaka. Low cost alternative over time to himmers. singhvivek141 1

Backlog is heavy. Rafale became a hit after India purchased them. Now they're getting tremendous amount of orders from other vendors.

It's a slippery slope when ballistic missiles start to rain down. Does not have to be balistic missiles. Once pinaka reaches 300km, nearly all of their bases are in reach. 100kg payload. 6 launchers per truck. Its exactly why north korea focused on rocket artillary. Can cover every park of sk

They conduct drills with china for the su30 family (su35). We cant do this with jk17. There is 100% an asymmrtry with intel. J10 i think we need to conduct drills with indonesia. J10 is a glorified su35 but we need to see. singhvivek141 1

Secondly, nuclear exchange, will break all the international shackles and will crush all the Information Narrative which is propagated by Al Jazeera and other Islamic nations. They will have no choice but to alienate Pakistan and its awaam and will give India every right to obliterate Pooks from all 3 wings. Pooks are stupid no doubt, but US isnt stupid enough to let that happen. Rather it would allow India to crush Pakistan using conventional means instead of going Nuclear. Once Nuclear Environment is created, it will lead to chain of events which no one will be able to stop easily.

It was established Pooks were desperate enough to launch its MRBM Shaheen on Delhi alone during Op Sindoor 1.0. Their nuke threshold is pretty lower as per numerous Pentagon estimates. US very well knows this and has kept a leash on it but it can't control tactical nuclear strikes whose control is totally lies within stupid Army corridors of GHQ. There is no conventional defeat of Pakistan unless it is broken up through a civil war.. otherwise a nuclear exchange will definately happen in the event of a major conflict. Once Indian armed columns start make gains within Pakjabi plains...this is the scenario when Jihadi suicidal army will pull the trigger. Edited January 1 by Lone Wolf singhvivek141 1

There, you would have a 72 rocket salvo in 44 seconds (taken off google). Each rocket has 100kg payload so 7000kg payload. Costs would be the same i think of a single burst. Lone Wolf 1

Pinaka 300km would be absolute hellfire and we would start to threaten even major PLAGF command and control centers in Xinjiang but it's a while away. Pralay is kinda like an ATACMs but it takes more time to deploy, scoot and shoot comparatively than an ATACMs. It's based on Russian "Iskander" its primary inspiration similar roles, and follows same trajectory. I may be wrong about it though. Pooks have historically threatened us with Nuclear bomb threat, but have never used it coz they understand the repercussions. Secondly, I have a firm believe that Pak Nuclear Weapons arent Paks but rather Americans, thats why, they were triggered the most when we attacked on Kirana hills. US has kept playing the card of lower threshold to keep India in check against any volatile aggression vs them. Pak used Shaheen, coz they wanted to scare India with Nuclear threat (like they did in the past, it also indicates that Pak's conventional capability was pretty hollow), but once India launched barrage of missiles, they were running around naked. This is despite of the fact that Pak Nuclear threshold is IWT abeyance and/or blockade of Karachi port, India crossed one and semi crossed the other. My theory is that Pooks will only use Nuclear weapons, if US says yes to the same. Ofcourse, they will play games, use West to pressurise India, or maybe threaten us with launch of Nuclear capable missiles, albeit with conventional weapons. Thats why, India has been saying that the "Nuclear bluff" is called out. Lone Wolf, raki05 and G_B_ 1 1 1

Thats why, India has been saying that the "Nuclear bluff" is called out. Once Shaheen enroute to Delhi was shot down in Sirsa it was implied that Pak ballistic missiles are outdated and these one off cases can no longer deter India. That was the case of bluff being called out and India likely carrying out strikes on their Nuclear command and control centers in RYK base and possibly even storage units of Kirana. However nuclear threshold was breached or not is what makes the Ceasefire story interesting... As per Experts, Pooks were getting desperate and India did pound their bases rather ruthlessly post that Shaheen missile interception as it was a major escalation. US, Saudi and maybe even Chinese help Pook's maintain their Nuclear program that's a known fact. It is argued that Pak nuclear bombs are actually de facto Saudi nuclear assets. Now how much control Pak army has is up in the air, we do know their tactical nuclear doctrine as loose as based on regiment and platoon level decision making. That's what takes things even out of the hands of even US and Saudis. Edited January 1 by Lone Wolf singhvivek141 1

Which is why now they are threatening India's vital economic assets through both ballistic and cruise missiles - hoping that the fear of losing ALOT MORE would discourage India from punitive actions. Thats why Munir kept repeating - "India is a shiny mercedes, Pak is a gravel truck". Who would lose more ? G_B_, singhvivek141 and raki05 1 1 1
singhvivek141 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 R37M on the cards, enhancing long range BVR capability till Astra mk3 is ready for induction. Once again, shown how capable Su30MkIs are for IAF. Whatever you throw at them, they are able to adapt. Once they'll retire, they will probably end up as the most dependable fighter jet ever for IAF, much more than Mig 21.
G_B_ Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Seems the Indian Army will employ the IIT Madras-developed ramjet artillery shell. will improve the range 30% to 50% Key Technical Capabilities Extended Range: The ramjet shell increases the strike range by 30–50% over standard ammunition. While traditional shells for systems like the ATAGS reach roughly 45 km, the ramjet variant can strike targets up to 80 km away. Supersonic Ignition: The shell functions as an "air-breathing engine" that does not require an internal compressor. It uses the high-speed forward motion of being fired from a cannon to reach Mach 2, at which point the ramjet ignites and sustains its flight. Retrofitting & Compatibility: The technology is designed to be retrofitted onto existing 155mm shells, making it compatible with a wide range of Indian artillery guns, including the Dhanush, K9 Vajra-T, and M777 howitzer. Precision Guidance: To maintain accuracy at extended distances, the shells incorporate a Precision Guidance Kit (PGK), utilizing India’s indigenous NavIC satellite https://defence.in/threads/indian-army-all-set-to-pioneer-the-deployment-of-ramjet-powered-155mm-artillery-shells.16460/#google_vignette

Testing prototypes is one thing - mass deployment is another. Our forces are frustrating slow in the induction process
