First priority is to secure IOR... 2040's will see current level of Chinese dominance in SCS in IOR region unless India ramps up its shipbuilding capacity and indigenous capabilities to a level that can deter them.

Also I hope we secure a military base in Sri Lanka and maybe with even Kenya by that time.  Both achievable in next 15 years.

Things will fall in place once we become strong enough...Andaman and Lakshadweeps are low hanging fruits as they're our own territories.

There were talks to build a small base in Mauritius, we already have a ship facility in Oman and Haifa in Israel for commercial purposes.

Game changer will be a base in Indonesia, Phillipines or Vietnam though, it'll hit the red line for China as then there will be 2 players (US and India) in their backyard and they'll for sure play their cards.
Hence, it's important that we become self sufficient in energy and have an economy of atleast 10 trillion, to expand more funds.

Indonesia itself will become a strong regional power by then and would be one of the major players in SEA and Oceania  region..  and so will Vietnam.  Independent foreign policy maintain karenge ye dono.  US probably will have a massive decline in influence over the SCS and Oceania.

Africa will be the new battleground for China and US for control over their untapped resources.

No red line must be maintained with China if they don’t have any red lines with us.

Think about it this way - what harm have they not already tried to cause us ( by us keeping off the so called red lines ? NONE )

No matter what happens - there is no way in hell even in 50 years that China will be able to take Taiwan. If they make that foolish mistake - it would end up as their biggest military humiliation. They know it that’s why despite all the threats, they have not been able to even demonstrate the ability to do it. The 100 KM Taiwan strait is like a death knell for their aspirations.

India should secretly arm Taiwan with nukes and then pretend as if it has nothing to do with it - pretty much like how China behaves in case of Pak. Just *ing do it and watch the Chinese snakes get pissed. Kya ukhad lenge BC ? Arnt they already supplying 80 % of Pak’s arms ?

This is old news - Africa was battleground - China is now being kicked out gradually. Their neocolonial and racist behavior towards locals is being widely reported and covered and amplified via social media locally in African countries. They are despised like hell amongst locals. hundreds of such videos on social media

On the contrary - India is seen  as a way better development partner.

China is gradually losing space in Africa to India. We don’t invest that big, but we are seen as more humane and partners who who actually care

I think most have had issues with belt and road...

Spoke to plenty of lankans in the uk who dont like india but hate china.

Pew surveys of africa confirm this.

The next war will be a high tech one. It will involve AI and heavy cybersecurity.

Don't be surprised if China develops a malware and trains Pak hackers to infiltrate our defense software, thereby corrupting it.

I think we're being too optimistic, but even if they're able to fly a prototype by 2030, I'll take it as a win.
Though 1800 sorties in 7 years, man, that's extremely demanding. Hope pvt. players don't get scared due to this condition.

Also,it seems the disagreement on the ICD is resolved, hence Rafale deal will move forward.
The amount was too big for France to let it go.
By this year end, the contract will get signed, and we'll get 24 jets in fly away condition while remaining 90 to be manufactured in India.

I won't be surprised if Navy too will start pushing for more Rafale-M once they get their ordered 26. Mig29k is a headache and it requires frequent serviceability and radar issues. While Radar problem is slowly being rectified, the engine fatigue and the airframe corrosion is not helping Navy much. TEDBF is still nowhere on the radar (and probably wont be unless the IAC-2 order is given to Cochin Shipyard).

That is 1-2 years minimum to select the vendor and get contract signed.

7 years to complete flight test if everything goes well. Note that non of these companies has no experience produce a fighter aircraft end to end. Not even license production. So delay is expected.

Combat ready aircraft before mid 2030's is a pipe dream. First batch of everything goes well will come at around 2036-37...Defence enthusiasts aren't too optimistic on this one can't blame them too.

I believe L&T & Tata...both in some form or the other are partners for the aviation. Tata is building C295 and is also is involved with C130J.

L&T with BEL & Dynamatic Tech too are involved in Tejas fuselage, EW suites and other orders for Apache & Chinooks.

Kalyani is the only one which dont have much experience in that domain. While rapidly expandinh, rheir strength still lies in artilley weapons

I hope whoever wins the AMCA, the runner up should be engaged in TEDBF. The way our Navy does by dividing the deliveries.

Stage is set for HAL intervention eventually.. only  they have the know how and experience anyways when it comes to fighter aircraft end to end production.

As bad as they are, AMCA won't see light of the day without them..  there will be delays first up then stop gap imports and then HAL comes to the party.

CCS clearance on the cards at last.. 7 years till the first boat arrival.  Means 2033nif signed sooner

P75I & Rafale are the big contracts for this year. Funds for AMCA & P77 are also released, hopefully we might see the MTA, Netra AWACS & Ghatak UCAV with Kaveri Certification as well.

I dont thibk HAL will come in the picture now. They may hire someone as a consultant or expert but thats it.

Their order book is choked and the prime focus is on LCA mk1a , mk2 and LUH helicopter orders, which too is facing multiple issues. Then potentially their deal with Russians for additional orders of Su30MkI or Su57M1.

If we bring in HAL then Airforce is gonna be furious about it. Already the relations between the two are pretty strained.

Reckon funds are already released for P77 since 2024 for 2 boats and work is underway already

This year only P75I and Rafale are on the agenda.  $51 billion worth of imports.  As big as it is, it is only half of freebie budget of Vishwaguru land:giggle:

Freebies ka to bc rona hai har jagah, otherwise instead of just 2 boats, we could have ordered all 6 one shot. This installment ordering is also causing an increase in the cost of the boats due to inflation.

In democracy, everyone wants goodies, and if you dont bring that then you're out of the race.

What started as a scheme to uplift the needy has now turned into open bribe, which we used to see in our local panchayat elections.

So much funds we are wasting which we could have used to build and accelerate Space Programs, Rare Earths, Chip Manufacturing...but naah. Huge chunk of money is being spent on distributing free electricity, food in schools and cleaning pan stains from the train.

Thats why I am a firm believer that in order to hit the 10 trillion mark ASAP...we need a dictatorship or a one party rule like CCP for next 20 years...atleast till 2047.
