The main reason being the cost of raising a child has become prohibitively expensive that most couple are opting to become single child parents. Youth are also getting disillusioned with the idea of a betting education providing better life because of the immense competition for limited resources that most youth are opting to disconnect from the society by remaining single for life. Even in a place like China with great job opportunities, fresh graduates and people who have done their masters are becoming delivery boys.

Even if the current low birth rates persist, population reduction will take 2-3 decades to kick in

Mass violation of signals, overspeeding is pretty common. People continue to cross the roads even during the red signal as if they own the place.
