  1. 1. Would you trade the last 3 ICC trophies for 2023 ODI WC?

    • Yes - there's nothing like a ODI World Cup
      8
    • No - consistency across tournaments and winning 3 trophies is worth more than a single trophy

What 3 ICC trophies? 2 T20 WCs... okay. Don't give a rats rear end about CT.

You can go gaga over Ben Dwarshius and Nathan Ellis and Cooper Connolly....... please.

Nah I have enjoyed these 3 ICC trophies so ain't trading this triplet for the WC 2023.

But yes if given an Option ,I'd trade  1 of thee 2 Wt20+CT 2025 in place of the Wc23.

3 trophies is too much to trade against a single odi WC !

I have found with india. Major disapointment or policy failure results in reforms. But lets stick to cricket.

2007 wc exit , 2007 t20wc+ 2011wc + 2013 champions trophy.

2023 wc disappointment, 2024 t20 wc+ champions trophy + 2026 t20 wc.

2023wc i think while not on same level as 2007 was the peak of a decade of missing out in finals n semis. 2014 t20 wc finals (india dominated this),  2015 wc semi, 2016 t20 semi, 2017 champions trophy loss to pakistan (was in uk, this hurt me more than 23) 2019 wc semi (should have won vs nz in semi).

we had disappointment in 2014, 2015, 2016 ,2019 and 2021 WCs

Pyjama cricket T20 that is every 2 years isnt that prestigious, Id trade them for the WC23 trophy

T20 narrows the gap between good teams and not so good teams. There’s hardly any time to recover from a bad start or bad run of play. In that sense two T20s back to back is an amazing achievement.

Having watched the tradition of 50 over world cups since 83(55 over), I’d take the 50 over version over the 3 trophies.

IMO, true test of cricket skills is test matches, true white ball skill is over 50 overs.
